A personal message from Duane Marino...

     People are people and sales is sales but so much has changed about our business!  As examples, using the internet, our factories manage our allotments and dialogue;  our finance sources automate our deal reviews;  our used car managers buy and sell our inventory;  our customers research their purchase, contact us through email and some even buy online.  Saturdays are the same as every other day.  Competition is fierce.  We're not really sure what a 'domestic' or 'import' is.  Full disclosure and compliance have taken over the dog and pony show.  Technology and training marches forward. It follows that our learning goes on-line as well.  We weren't the first to do on-line learning but we are confidently committed to be the best.

     I'm blessed with a huge passion for teaching and learning that has burned bright for over 20 years in the car business.  I'm still active in retail selling and managing at my family's used car store.  I use every tool available to help me grow and study the art of selling and the science of success.  I have the opportunity, energy and connections to study some of the best Sales People, Business Managers and Sales Managers in North America.  I'm very proud to say Joe Girard, a man who averaged 6 cars a day for 15 years straight is a personal friend and mentor.  Here, you will be able to learn and model the practices, principles and psychology of some of the best in the business.  Everything here is real world, tried and tested on the street, by myself and other outstanding professionals.

     Changes in the market place and my desire to constantly improve drives me to modify my training continually.  As a result, my material is not static and neither is this site.  Videos, the NAASSA Course Calender, my blog, documents and quizes will be added, changed and deleted as I and the market evolve.

     The obvious reality exists that I cannot be everywhere at once; my customers, workshop promoters and coordinators have tested that theory a few times, even with travel 5 to 6 days a week.  I also realize the timing and costs of attending my live events or having me come to you is sometimes prohibitive.  So I'm excited for both of us!  Adding on-line learning helps us grow together without any logistic restrictions.  And you get to learn from the comfort and convenience of your own desk.

     So, here I am for you, with you.  Available 365/24.  Watch, stop, start, rewind and replay at will.

Como por ejemplo, el uso del Internet en: nuestras fábricas manejan nuestras asignaciones y el diálogo; nuestras fuentes de financiación de automatizar nuestro acuerdo de revisión; nuestros gerentes de vehículos usados venden y compran nuestro inventario; nuestros clientes investigan su compra, nos contactan por medio de correo electrónico y algunos hasta los compran por Internet. Los días sábados son días normales tal como si fuera un día regular. La competencia es fuerte.  No estamos muy seguros lo que es un “nacional” o un “importado”. También he notado  la sincronización y costos para atender mis eventos en vivo o estar presente contigo algunas veces es inalcanzable.
