Duane Marino is the principal and founder. With a degree from the University of Western Ontario, he entered automotive in 1987. Joining a major automotive manufacturer in 1989 he held various positions, including national sales trainer before starting his own company in 1996.

Not afraid to ‘Walk the Talk’ he eagerly takes walk-in, phone and F&I traffic while training on-site. He continues to update his knowledge by attending formal training and sharpens his skills during in-dealership ‘fill-in’ assignments. Duane motivates his clients to new levels of professional and personal development with his usable and proven approaches delivered in a down to earth style.

He has trained over 12,000 sales people and managers and has consulted nearly 250 dealerships on-site. Duane’s clients include Canadian and American dealerships of every make, automotive manufacturers, captive finance companies, banks, off-lease fleet re-marketers, independent service garages and non-automotive retail sales professionals.

He is a circuit speaker for several seminar and speaking companies, is one of the only Canadian automotive sales trainers to be recognized in the USA and is frequently asked to contribute his opinions to automotive trade publications and magazines.

Since 1992 he has dedicated his career to learning and teaching others how to succeed through process. Duane’s knowledge, energy, passion, integrity and commitment to continuous improvement are the driving forces behind each and every Team RelMark® training workshop.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission statement of the company is reflective of both the personal and professional values of Duane Marino. Simply:

  • Maximization of potential in ALL areas. Each individual, company, association or group has inherent physical, financial, and emotional potential. We must all identify and strive for continuous improvement. Honest reflection while moving towards new goals; not letting fear, bad habits or complacency slow progress.
  • Leave everything and everyone better than when you found them. By definition, we must all make contact with other person's during the regular course of life and business - in this small world, every point of contact must have a straight intention with conclusions as positive as possible.
  • Don't let strengths become weaknesses. Often, the same qualities that contribute to initial greatness are the same qualities that lead to eventual failure. Self-awareness is key.
